Why I Chose Life in Nagano

A few years ago, I traveled to Tasmania, Australia, and spent several days exploring its beautiful landscapes.

One place that left a lasting impression on me was Cradle Mountain.

I was captivated by its overwhelming presence and the power of the untouched natural environment. Standing there, surrounded by vast mountains and wilderness, I realized something important:

When I returned to Japan, I wanted to live somewhere close to nature, with mountains always within sight.

After returning to Japan, I moved to Myoko in Niigata Prefecture, a region known for its beautiful mountains and snowy winters.

Later, as ENHANCE began to grow, I needed more space for my creative work and production. This led me to move to Nakano City in Nagano Prefecture.

Nakano and Myoko are very close to each other, making it easy to visit places I love such as Nozawa Onsen, Madarao, Kurohime Highlands, and Naeba.

Today, I live in a small house surrounded by apple orchards, where I create one-of-a-kind pieces for ENHANCE.

In the mornings, I wake up to the sound of birds singing. The pace of life is calm and peaceful, allowing me to focus on creativity while staying connected to nature.

Living here reminds me every day why I chose this path.

The mountains, changing seasons, and quiet surroundings continue to inspire both my work and my way of life.
